Adopt Me Please - Week of August 12 - The Pet Connection Adoptables

Introducing more amazing dogs (and even some kitties) up for adoption at The Pet Connection! In case you missed last week's blog post, below is more information about this organization from their website.

The Pet Connection, Inc. is a no-kill, nonprofit, cageless animal shelter located in the Kansas City Metro Area. It is our intention to form a no-kill coalition for companion animals within our community by educating the public, providing spay/neuter and other responsible pet owner services and to find homes for unwanted and abandoned animals. We serve as an adoption center for many groups and individuals who need to find homes for abandoned animals. We refer to area shelters and other humane groups in the hopes of finding more and more pets in our area, permanent and loving homes.

We believe that each group needs to work together to accomplish this task. Since we are a no-kill shelter and have limited space, we can’t take in all animals that need help, even though we would want to. Instead, we keep a waiting list to assist people to the best of our ability. On occasion, individuals will serve as fosters for their own pets until they are re-homed.
